Bart Michiels is a passionate nature photographer based in the Belgian Southern Kempen: a beautiful area where Demer and Nete embrace each other and where abbeys and castles colour the landscape.

Bart has a wide range of photographic interests, including nature photography in the broad sense (landscape, macro, fauna, flora, etc.) and architecture.

To keep the fire of his passion burning and his eyes sharp, he regularly takes part in national and international competitions. Bart is sometimes a judge in competitions and his images have been published in magazines (including National Geographic).

Bart is an international member of the Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP) and the Photographic Society of America (PSA).
